John Cooper Works Convertible is offered exclusively in one trim but there are some customizations that you can choose from. In our review, the carbon fiber diffuser caught our attention really fast but for the performance militant, the R113 wheels with 18" diameter is a must have. The run flat tire system and tire pressure monitoring are standard options for the John Cooper Works Convertible. This feature provides you absolute safety even on the highest speeds by preventing your car from overturning or crashing due to a punctured tire. The leather upholstery is an optional feature for which you have to shell out a $1000-$2000 extra bucks. You can leather coat the instrument panel and steering column but we would prefer our money to be spent on something smarter. The navigation system with 6.5" display that comes at $1,750 is something that we would love to have on our John Cooper Works Convertible. This helps you to stay put with a 208 HP engine that generates a top speed of 140 plus miles/hour.

Being the hard-core performer that John Cooper Works Convertible is, the car comes with four passenger airbags that includes the side impact airbags. The site impact door beams with interlocking anchoring system can absorb the impact in crashes while the engine immobilizer puts an immediate halt to the engine from running in crisis conditions. The remote keyless entry and central locking system, though standard feature in most modern cars, does a great job in accessing your car as well as protecting it from burglars. In our review, we found the battery misconnection alarm to be a very useful feature as it immediately notifies you about your problem.

Though offered as optional accessories, your John Cooper Works Convertible can't be complete without the Xenon headlamps and retractable headlight washers that will cost you an extra $600. The good thing about customization, however, is that you can do it anytime if you are on a tight budget. Do not expect a luxury car like ride in John Cooper Works Convertible as its suspension system is heavily optimized for high-speed stability and powerful braking sections. It's somewhat obvious that you should compromise on the ride quality a little bit to enjoy the mind blowing performance of John Cooper Works Convertible.
