More Used Porsche Sedan Reviews / All Porsche Cars

The luxurious four-door, full-size Panamera sedan is a game-changing vehicle for luxury brand Porsche, which is usually known for its sports cars, and it's available in an amazing eight different model types this year: the standard Panamera, the Panamera S, the Panamera 4 and 4S, (S being the sportier version of both), the powerful Panamera GTS, the Panamera S Hybrid, and the Panamera Turbo and Turbo S. There is also a diesel version of the Panamera available in several European countries- but not in the U.S., which has yet to accept the engine type for most cars.

Unlike the Porsche 911, which features a rather sparse interior due to its dedication to being powerful and fast, the Porsche Panamera 4 is well-equipped with a sumptuous interior that keeps its passengers feeling comfortable and stylish with such features as heated leather seats (front and rear), Cruise control, an attractive instrument cluster, Porsche Communication Management (with navigation and a 7-inch WBFA TFT color display), an optional Bose Surround System or Burmester audio system, and optional voice control. Safety features include ParkAssist with an optional rearview camera and several airbags. So, in review, though the starting price for the Panamera 4 is reasonable at $79,800, that price can quickly increase with added options and packages.

We haven't even mentioned the Panamera 4's sporty features yet, which are quite impressive for a sedan. The sporty vehicle features a 3.6-liter V6-cylinder engine that produces a maximum horsepower of 300, as well as VarioCam Plus, a Direct Fuel Injection System, a sport button on the center console for determining one's preferred driving mode, and a 7-speed Porsche PDK transmission. A manual gearbox and Tiptronic S transmission are not available on the standard Panamera 4. Fuel consumption ratings are decent, at 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.
