The Renault Twizy Coupe, at first glance, looks like a space-aged, oversized baby stroller. It has a fun look to it that just makes you want to jump in and explore. Make sure you leave your luggage at home though, because you're not gifted cargo space in this vehicle. You will not lose this one in the parking lot. Speaking of a parking lot, this car will literally fit almost anywhere. You know those tiny spaces that no one can ever fit in because others cars parked crooked? You will be able to slide ride in! The Renault Twizy Coupe was released in March 2012, and consumers couldn't be more thrilled for it. Whether you are looking for a second vehicle to run errands and commute to work in, or if you need a primary vehicle, but really don't travel far, thiss vehicle is for you.

The Twizy comes in three different trims, including Urban, Colour and Technic. They are all quite similar, but with a few tweaks as far as equipment is minor exterior details are concerned. All three trims are powered by the same electric engine, offer a smooth ride and are easily charged either at home with a special home pack or at any supermarket car parking lot.

The unique thing about the Renault Twizy Coupe is that you actually lease the battery. This is perfect for the manufacturers and consumer. It gives the manufacturer the opportunity to keep an eye on the batteries and it gives consumers peace-of-mind knowing that their warranty is covered, since these are the most costly components of electric vehicles. You can lease the battery for 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 months for 4,500, 6,000, 7500 or 9,000 miles a year.

The Twizy is a good idea for helping to keep the environment green. With the government's stance on CO2 emissions nowadays, the Twizy seems like something that any consumer should be considering if they don't commute via highway for work. One benefit is that you will not care how high the gas prices rise.

The electric engine may not give much power, but paired up with a superb automatic gearbox, drivers enjoy a silent and smooth ride. You are granted instant pulling and acceleration. There is also a Breakdown Package available for peace-of-mind on the road that comes with 24/7 breakdown assistance and towing to the closet car park. If need be, it will get you home too!
