Infiniti Sedan Reviews

Since its launch as Nissan's luxury brand in American in 1989, Infiniti has grabbed attention with its sleek, eye-catching designs. The brand has expanded to many countries all around the world since planting its American roots, but its sedan models are still known as some of its finest. For the 2012 year, Infiniti is offering two of its award-winning sedans, the M-Class and the G-Class, in several different variants, including: the Infiniti G25, the Infiniti G37, the Infiniti M35h, the Infiniti M37, and the Infiniti M56.

The Infiniti G sedan is an entry-level, compact luxury car that is now in its fourth generation. Its models have been both sedans and coupes, with only sedans making up the first two generations. The G sedan is known for its excellent luxury features that are available at a great price, as well as its throaty 3.7-liter V6-engine, its sharp handling and strong brakes, and its technology features. For 2012, the Infiniti G is available is several different models/trims. The base trim is the Infiniti G25, which has a starting price of $32,600 and gets 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. It includes such features as stability and traction control, an MP3 player, and Satellite radio. Next in line is the G25 Journey, which starts at $34,000 and adds Bluetooth connection and iPod inputs. Rounding out the G25s is the G25x, which comes standard with AWD and has a starting price of $35,600

As far as G37 sedans are concerned, there are quite a few of them. The G37 Journey (starting at $36,400), the G37x (starting at $38,00), the G37 Sport Appearance Edition (starting at $39,750), the G37 Sport (starting at $41,000), the G37x Sport Appearance Edition (starting at $41,350), the G37 Limited Edition (starting at $44,950), and the G37x Limited Edition ($45,550) sedan trims really offer the buyer a G sedan to fit any needs. The G sedan competes with the BMW 3 Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and the Audi A4.

Also on this year's docket is the Infiniti M sedan. This sedan is a premium, sporty sedan that boasts strong performance, easy and fun handling, tons of high-tech features, a stylish interior, and an available hybrid model. The Infiniti M sedan comes in several trims/models this year: the M37 (starting at $47,700), the M37x (starting at $49,850), the M56 (starting at $59,200), and the M56x (starting at $61,700). An M35h (hybrid) model is also available with a starting price of $53,700. The M35h boasts fuel economy ratings up to 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. The closest trim to this hybrid sedan is the base M37, which gest 18 mpg city/26 mpg highway- quite a large difference!

The Infiniti M sedan competes with such vehicles as the BMW 5 Series, the Audi A6, and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. If you can get past the M's firm ride quality, you've picked a vehicle that is close to perfect. If you are concerned about ride quality, steer clear of the Sports package. The first M was a M45 sedan, a re-packaged Nissan Gloria.
