ProsThis year's model of the Subaru Impreza brings more room, comfort, and style.

ProsAfter review, we find that the car's chassis can handle even the toughest environments.

ProsThe features included in the Premium package really take things up a notch. They were varied and important enough to give us what we need- without a huge price increase.

ProsThe optional moonroof is wicked cool and adds to the Impreza's improved exterior design.

ProsSafety features are numerous and adequate on the 2012 Subaru Impreza Premium package. The vehicle was named a "Top Safety Pick" by the IIHS.

ProsThe Subaru's standard All-Wheel drive is appreciated in colder climates and under harsh conditions.

ProsThe improved fuel economy is a great feature. One of the drawbacks to previous Impreza models was their ability to guzzle gas. The new 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i 4-Door Sedan gets 36 mpg on the highway- a 38 percent increase from last year's model.

ProsThe roominess of the interior in this trim is great. A couple inches of added-on space in the backseat really make a difference.

ConsSome tacky interior features from the previous generation Impreza made their way into the 2.0i Premium 4-Door Sedan version, including some cheap plastics and an outdated-looking navigation system.

ConsDespite the upgrades the Premium Impreza receives, the sound system still leaves something to be desired-quality.

ConsThe Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium 4-Door Sedan may have an improved, more aesthetically pleasing exterior, but it's still a far cry from what we would call "sleek." It may be a family car, but it could still use some extra styling tweaks.

ConsWe're not fans of the loss of power and torque on this year's vehicle. Despite the car's lighter body, we don't really think the new "improvements" have made it that much faster.
