The Subaru Impreza WRX Premium 4-Door is a turbocharged version of the popular Subaru Impreza sedan. Like most Subaru vehicles, it's garnered quite a dedicated following for itself due to its familiar styling, AWD capability, and reliability. It isn't easy to persuade Subaru owners to leave the Subaru family. This brand has some seriously dedicated fans. The 2012 WRX is offered in both sedan and wagon variations. The review we have compiled surrounding the new WRX is a fairly positive one, but we have to admit, we weren't especially amazed by this 4-Door. Maybe you should hear about the WRX's history before we take you any further. As most enthusiasts know, Subaru has a pattern, and the company sticks by it. The first WRX version of the Impreza was showcased in 1992 in Japan, and Australia, and New Zealand, and Europe followed closely behind in their releases. It was, and still is marketed as a sportier version of the Impreza- although not as much so as the WRX-STI trim. In comparison with the base Impreza, the WRX has thicker wheel, stronger and better quality suspension components, lower profile tires, and larger brakes. The WRX was first marketed in America in 2001 as a 2002 model.

Our review indicates that the 2012 WRX doesn't have the traditional "best-in-class" title that many automakers like to boast about- in any category. This vehicle isn't the most powerful or the roomiest; it isn't even accompanied by an amazing warranty such as those that come with new Kia vehicles. The most impressive feature the Impreza has (that its opponents don't) have is standard AWD. The Subaru company created name for itself with this offering in the early days of the company, and it continues to offer the standard feature on all of its automobiles to date. Subaru could be in the running for one best-in-class award as far as we're concerned, and that's in the drivability division. An original 2.0-liter flat-4 engine creates extremely engaging steering and leads the great driving package the sporty 2012 WRX contains. The most pleasing feature of the new Impreza, compared to its predecessors, however, is its improved interior. The cabin is simple and elegant. However, we must admit that some of the plastics seem slightly ill-fitting and of subpar quality. The outside of the WRX Premium, like most Subaru vehicles, could be much more aesthetically pleasing, but it does look a lot better than last year's version. The front end has a more forceful design, and its more angular-shaped headlights are pleasant to look at. A refreshed grille resembles the 2010 Legacy and reflects future designs for the Subaru brand.
