Used 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sedan Trims & Features

The 2011 Suzuki Kizashi is available in four separate versions: the S, the SE, GTS Sport and SLS Sport.

All of the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sedans come with cloth upholstery, pushbutton start, remote entry, power windows and a USB port as standard, with each model having other goodies to trade them up a little .

The Suzuki Kizashi S version comes with power locks, keyless pushbutton start, climate control, radio, CD player, P3, no less than nine-speakers, steering-wheel inset audio controls, headlamps with projector beams, power windows, power mirrors, and sixteen inch steel wheels. Optional extras for the Kizashi S include a six speed manual gear box and all-wheel drive.

The Suzuki Kizashi SE Sedan version comes with continuously variable transmission (CVT) as standard, as well as a ten way way power driver's seat, leather covered steering wheel, leather covered shift knob, and parking brake lever, cruise control and with eighteen inch alloy wheels on wide-profile tires to complete the picture. AWD is also available for the Kizashi SE as an optional extra.

The Suzuki Kizashi Sport GTS in keeping with its image comes with a sporty lower grille, sport bumpers, body side sill extensions, trunk spoiler, moonroof, fog lights, a 425-watt sound system hooked up to ten speakers as well as iPod connectivity. Also available for the Kizashi Sport GTS are CVT or CVT AWD options.

The Suzuki Kizashi Sport SLS comes with leather upholstery complete with some raised hand stitching for effect, heated driver and passenger seats, a power adjustable passenger seat, heated wing mirrors, auto headlights,rear parking sensor and rain-sensing wipers. Standards with the Sport SLS are a six speed manua.

The stability control feature senses when the Kizashi's handling limits have been exceeded and will automatically reduce engine power and apply brakes to allow the driver to regain control.

There are a total of eight airbags as standard in the Kizashi with two front, two front side, two rear side and two full sized overhead airbags to protect the driver and passenger's head in the event of a rollover. In addition the Kizashi Sedan has been fitted with Suzuki's latest innovation known as seatbelt pre-tensioners. Pre-tensioners are designed to automatically tighten during a collision and place drivers and passengers in the safest position should an accident situation occur.

Fuel consumption for the 2012 Suzuki Kizashi with its 2.4-liter aluminum four-cylinder, with 6-speed manual transmission according to the US EPA, averages at 24miles per gallon in two wheel drive, with 20 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the open road. The automatic version, according to the objective reviews averages at 25 miles per gallon, with 21 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway.

All in all the Suzuki Kizashi Sedan fits very well into the category as a medium sized four-cylinder family sports sedan. It has to deal with a lot of opposition in this category with such market leaders as the Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Subaru Legacy, Chevrolet Malibu and the Audi A3 all competing for buyers in this niche.
