Instant Pot BBQ Sauce

Homemade barbecue sauce recipe that you make in the pressure cooker.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups celery chopped
  • 1 ½ medium onions chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 4 teaspoons Jamaican Jerk BBQ seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups ketchup
  • 1 ½ cups water

Instructions

  • Saute onions and celery in Instant Pot for 3-4 minutes. Add remaining ingredients to the pot.
  • Close the lid on the pressure cooker and turn the valve to sealing.
  • Set a manual high-pressure time for 25 minutes.
  • Do a quick release to let out the pressure.
