╰▹ Hey there, you can call me Kori! I'm your local artist, writer, and roleplayer and use he/xe/she pronouns! I've been on Scartch for around 3-4 years on different accounts, and recently joined the roleplaying community in 2024. I'm in highschool, so I'm pretty active during the school day. I love anime, manga, and all things Japan. {it's a shame I don't live there} Some of my favorite manga are Haikyuu!!, Spy x Family, Yona of the dawn, Komi Can't communicate, and In the Name of the Mermaid Princess! I love dark fantasy novels with tons of romance, along with old Disney movies like The Black Cauldren and Treasure Planet. I've got some weird music taste, but my playlists mostly consist of J-POP, Good Kid, Saint Motel, Mad Tsai, and others. I've got Celiac {a digestive problem that stops your body from taking in nutrients from food, specifically from gluten in my case} so I can't eat anything with gluten irl. Anyways, I love to chat and meet new people on Scratch as well as make art!

» Folly is a very strong cat, emotionally at least. She never hesitates to stand up for what she thinks is right, and always wears her heart on her sleeve. Or, that's how she seems. She makes friends with everyone, not caring who she's talking to as long as they pretend to listen. She's often very loud and public about everything. In simple terms, she's extremely eccentric. Folly may seem kind, nice, and helpless at first… but once you get too close to her, it's a different story.

Deep down, Folly is actually ashamed of her condition, and uses the attention to cover up her anxiety over it.

Mother had been ignoring her even more lately, and though she was trying harder, the last time that had spoken was multiple day ago. Weren't parents supposed to love their kits and talk to them every day? “Maybe she doesn't even love me.” Folly meowed loudly, and a chorus of “We love you Folly!” and “She just doesn't understand!” came from the cats. She sighed, their words did nothing to comfort her. (WIP)

» Prosopagnosia is a condition where you struggle to recognize faces or can’t interpret facial expressions and cues. Prosopagnosia is a condition that affects your brain only. However, it doesn't just interfere with your ability to recognize faces. This condition is often a source of anxiety for people. That's because many feel embarrassed or ashamed that they struggle to remember faces while others have no trouble with it.
