4/23/13: Updates to site and editor

We are squashing bugs as fast as we can, in preparation for the release of Scratch 2.0! That said, fast development sometimes introduces new glitches. So please report any new problems in the Bugs and Glitches forums!

Project Editor:
v289
- comments now expand/contract
- zoom readout in paint editor
- tooltips for flip buttons ‘Flip horizontal’, ‘Flip vertical’
- translate tooltips for: grow, shrink, block help
- make default argument of “turn video” block be “on”
- bug: Flash redisplay bug when deleting sprite by using scissors on sprite thumbnail
- change wording from “Show video” back to “Video on”
- translate load progress dialog
- translate cloud data messages
- translate upload messages
- translate “sign in” menu
- translate save status messages
- translate revert dialog
- tooltips for flip buttons: Natalie's wording
- bug: user changes to video state should trigger autosave
- bug: paint backdrop should open paint editor in bitmap mode
- paint editor: add zoom readout
- new stamp icons from Natalie
- make the initial video transparency be 50%
- remember video transparency when video is off

Website :

- Studio curators must now be invited, after which they can choose to accept or not
- Can add projects to studios by tag (up to 150 - this is an experimental feature!)
- Fix for password reset page

Ah! I did make a ticket for that - definitely important! But it might have to wait till after release.

Aww man. Scratch 2.0 comes out in 2 weeks and nothing is working for me. This sucks

I am disappointed too.

So… we are going to have cloud variables without cloud lists…

Also, I was just looking through the Bugs and Glitches forum and I noticed that TONS of stuff still isn't working properly.

Yeah, I've experienced tons of problems and I see others have even more glitches and problems.
