There are so many accounts such as this one or this one . Why do they exist and why have they done nothing?

If that was the case, then why would the ST make so many of them? Let's see: @the, @a, @no, @yes, @fadingshadow, @ded, @active, @-_- (yes, that IS a real account BTW), @999, @bye, @hiddenshadow, @gon, @ttyl, @—__— @yolo_ and so many others… If they were actually ST-made, wouldn't they have just created one or two of those accounts and then deleted them? Also, a lot of those accounts are pretty old but some are also relatively recent, if the ST made test accounts wouldn't they all be from 10 years ago when they were still testing out Scratch?

I personally think account names like @the, @active, @no, and @ded were created by people just for the fun of it, to occupy such a username. That doesn't explain the more obscure usernames like @hiddenshadow, and @—__— though…

Maybe some left. Some people unshare and unfavourite and un follow when they leave Scratch. My friends have accs so they can comment, nothing else.

Accounts that only exist because of their names (@no, @one, @yes, @bob, @etc), people who joined because they were interested but lost the motivation or forgot the name or password of their account, people like me who are too lazy and unmotivated to make projects, etc.

I think the people aren't creative and lost motivation. Maybe they started a project and abandoned it and the account.

by the way, aking_, usernames can only be 3 - 20 characters long so you can’t create an account with the username ‘no’.
