The List of Rejected Suggestions
It's mentioned here:How do I use starlogo? How does that relate to this thread?
1.8 3D Scratch
This block, and others, could be used with a z-axis in the project stage to make it easier to create 3D projects. But, Scratch is a language that is designed to be as easy as possible for beginners to learn. Adding 3D features would make the language more difficult for beginners to understand, and a 3D engine is not exactly the purpose of Scratch. This suggestion also includes the possibility for a virtual-reality features in Scratch, or “Scratch VR.” A lot of the same difficulties come up.
There is a similar program to Scratch that contains block programming with 3D features, called Starlogo TNG . You can also try Alice ; it is not exactly like Scratch, but has some similar features.

The List of Rejected Suggestions
How do you think about adding something along the lines of " Deleting studio comments
“ or otherwise merging it with §6.1 (”Delete or edit your comments everywhere“)? It's a suggestion for a former feature — the ability for managers/owners of a studio to delete any comment in that studio, not just their own. It was removed due to misuse such as ”secret chats", and it looks like it's not returning soon.
I noticed this suggestion popping up a number of times in the past year ( three more times in past years) and in each case, they were closed as rejected following a reply by @Paddle2See or @Harakou. (except one of them) So perhaps it's time we put it on the list?

Certainly if someone suggested “Delete your comments on others' profiles,” then this would be rejected under 6.1. I'm a little puzzled as to why we would want a separate entry for this.

Now, I could see adding a little blurb to 6.1 specifying that this includes studio comments. However, I believe I recall that you can delete certain comments made in a studio. Under what circumstances are you currently able to delete a comment in a studio?

You can delete comments if they are by yourself and you are manager, but I see deleting your comments everywhere sort of a separate suggestion as it's mostly suggesting the owners of the studio can delete comments, as far as I've seen of these suggestionsHow do you think about adding something along the lines of " Deleting studio comments “ or otherwise merging it with §6.1 (”Delete or edit your comments everywhere“)? I made a project that allows you to easily quote this topic if someone suggests a rejected suggestion, so you don't have to burn time finding and quoting the entry. It can be found here
. Could you consider including it in the sticky, so it could be even more helpful? Thanks!

The List of Rejected Suggestions
Well, I would think the existing entry already covers this. Certainly if someone suggested “Delete your comments on others' profiles,” then this would be rejected under 6.1. I'm a little puzzled as to why we would want a separate entry for this.Like @mtech22, I see them as two distinct suggestions. The one that's currently on the list suggests for a Scratcher to be able to delete their own comments everywhere, while the one I brought up suggests owners/managers of a studio to be able to delete other Scratchers' comments in their studio. (akin to the way Scratchers can delete any comment on their profile or projects)
Now, I could see adding a little blurb to 6.1 specifying that this includes studio comments. However, I believe I recall that you can delete certain comments made in a studio. Under what circumstances are you currently able to delete a comment in a studio?
If I showed someone suggesting the latter a quote from 6.1, I don't think they'd be convinced that their suggestion is actually rejected for that reason.
I think a blurb to add to the bottom of 6.1 and adding a link to the post by Paddle confirming the rejection would definitely do it well.

3.5 only gives you a blank quote box.Seems to work for me. Maybe I was making some changes at the time you viewed it. It could also be because it has some text at the beginning and end, and the text at the beginning fills up the beginning. I found out that this is caused because I didn't add a 3.5, as it didn't exist. So, it doesn't do anything, as it has no information to grab.3.5 only gives you a blank quote box.Seems to work for me. No support.Right - Scratch is about more than just programming. The Lifelong Kindergarten Group (part of the MIT Media Lab) that created Scratch is interested in enabling digital creativity - in many forms. So, while programming with Scratchblocks is one way to be creative, so is displaying art or creating a story through roleplaying comments.
With Scratch, you can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community.
Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.
Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge.
Imagine , Program, Share
Scratch's focus is not on programming but on logical, creative thinking to solve problems using a set of tools and sharing it with the wider community. Scratch is not for people who want to learn programming but for those who want to learn why they are programming what they are programming.
Thanks for your suggestion - but we are not currently interested in limiting the kinds of creative activities that take place on Scratch.
