Get hex file from scratch 3 (offline editor) to copy to micro:bit

Hello,

I succesfully installed the micro:bit extension. I also succesfully connected the micro:bit and can use the Scratch 3 offline editor to make the micro:bit do what I want, but only when connected!

However .. I cannot find where to generate / download / extract a hex file in scratch 3 that I can copy to the micro:bit. I want my program I created in Scratch 3 to run on the micro:bit after it has been disconneted and is working in standalone mode. It was possible with the original online micro:bit editor, but I want to know how it can be done in the offline Scratch 3 editor.

Ideas / suggestions anyone????

I have been Googling for hours, but did not find an answer :-(

Search function returned 0 results, with differentieel kinds of notation of the word micro:bit. So I did not double post as far as I knew. I even Googled it with parameter site:scratch.mit.edu/discuss
Then I received links that I was not permitted tot access.
