A Grand Universe | Looking for devs, artists and designers!

A Grand Universe
A Grand Universe is about moving with your little ship across space, finding planets, building mines, making money and infiltrating SpaceGuard outposts.
To achieve our goal of finishing the game, we will need a dedicated team of around ten people. We're looking for:
- Developers
Will program all the mechanics for the game. I'll lead the development. - Artists
Will create art for the game, including the spaceship, planets, and some characters. Art style is 2D pixel art. - Writers
Will write the grand lore and story, including character interactions. - Designers
Will plan gameplay elements and design engaging mechanics.
You can find the application and details in the next post. We're planning to begin with creating the core gameplay loop, after which we will gradually expand the story and gameplay mechanics. Dedication is key; and the joy of making games and collaborating should still exist.

Lead Developer - Me - NOT HIRING
Builds core systems (ship movement and such), makes final technical decisions, coordinates other developers.
Developers - 3 positions - HIRING
Each developer works on a specific system: combat mechanics, mining/resource gathering, trading economy, or planet generation. You'll work independently on your system while coordinating with the lead developer.
Current members: s714655
Artists - 3 positions - HIRING
Create pixel art for ships, planets, UI elements, characters, and environments. We need consistent style across all assets.
Current members: g7-behemoth
Writer - 1 position - NOT HIRING (feel free to apply)
Write the story, lore, character dialogue, and item descriptions. Keep narrative voice consistent throughout the game. Work with designers on story integration.
Current members: SilvaMelinora
Designers - 2 positions - HIRING
Plan progression systems, balance economy and combat, design what makes exploration rewarding. Create the actual gameplay experience on top of everything else.

Why do you need all of these people for a simple project, I you can have someone do more than just designing the sprites.

Why do you want to join this project?
Tbh I am not good at designing things so I was looking through the collaborations to find somebody that needed a custom engine or something because I am great at implementing complete ideas.
How active will you be? (hours per week) I've been in school and have a lot of freetime in school but its summer break so I would guess maybe an hour a day maybe more or less on some days. Mostly ~6-7 hours a week if you want a straight answer.
What relevant skills/experience do you have?
I design custom game engines built for performance (normally in c++ or Java) but I don't exactly have a portfolio and most of my projects are incomplete (like I said I cant think of good game mechanics to add to my projects so I get stumped)

This is just a basic cpu emulator https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1256875578/ I have a lot of unshared projects so I guess https://paper-lantern-studios.netlify.app/rpg/ but that was just a proof of concept the subtile collision is unfinished (controls for that one are 1-2-3-4 to change the layer 123 being visual and 4 being the collision layer I was going to have 5 for subtitles but I stopped working on it I forgot why but I lost the code. Its o and p to change the tile theres some spaces in the atlas so you might need to spam p to get to the other parts. Z while clicking to delete from that layer)

I just ranted in the other parts ig. I am just looking for something to work on so if you don't accept me ill probably just work on something else. Though if this goes unactive for a while I might stop checking my messages because I have good response time when somethings active but tend to forget to check otherwise.
