Marching Into Spring

Nineteen new writers have been added to the Seamheads.com staff.

You may have noticed that things have slowed to a crawl on the site, but that’s about to change. We’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to improve Seamheads.com and we think you’ll be happy with what we’ve done. First of all, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve integrated with Baseball Digest Daily. The integration will allow us to provide you with even more quality content than ever before, as well as statistics that will be updated throughout the season.

We’ve also added an entire staff of talented new writers that will soon be filling the site with fantastic content. We’ll be featuring a weekly column that will focus on current events around Major League Baseball, written by two of our writers, one of whom will focus on the American League while the other focuses on the National. That will debut on March 16 and will feature divisional previews leading up to Opening Day. Two of our writers will produce weekly columns about fantasy baseball, again dividing their responsibilities between leagues. We have a Hall of Fame expert who will be blogging from Cooperstown during this year’s induction ceremonies in addition to producing a monthly column in which he’ll analyze Hall of Famers by position. We have a Negro Leagues expert who will be writing articles that focus on the human aspect of baseball more so than the statistical side.

We have writers who will produce: Player biographies and profiles; articles pertaining to current events, baseball history, the minor leagues, and college baseball; book reviews; and commentary about contemporary and social issues. And, of course, we’re still working on our Ballpark Factors database, which we hope to have posted to the site soon.

Our writers are highly-educated professionals with an avid passion for and vast knowledge of the game. We think you’ll be impressed.
