Ultimate Sacrifice Baseball Card Set Part 2

Last week I talked about the idea of creating a set of baseball cards for the 142 professional players who lost their lives serving with the military during WWII. I was pleased to receive such an overwhelmingly positive response and it would seem many of you believe it would be a great idea to produce these as an actual cards set. At the moment, the idea is to produce these cards for online viewing, but who knows, they may just appear as an actual set some time in the future. For the time being, here are the next three cards I have put together.
Very nice indeed. My dad was a hero in WWII and so I relate closely with anything connected with this period in history. Concerning the Raimondi card, in line one on the back shouldn’t it be “into” and not “in to” ? Great job and keep it up.
Hi Rex. You’re probably correct regarding the Raimondi card. The cards are in draft stage at the moment and will be proof read down the line, but I’ll keep an eye out for that one.Gary
Congratulations on your wonderful idea. What a special way to remember those so deserving.
Great job, Gary. Sincerely, Lamar Garrard
Hi Lamar. I really appreciate your support. It’s an exciting opportunity and definitely a great way to get people to learn about these long-forgotten heroes. I’ll keep you posted on the progress. Regards, Gary @Lamar Garrard –
