La Huelga Y El Deporte Profesional (Strike And Professional Sports)

Cuando se produjo la huelga de jugadores de las grandes ligas en 1994, un amigo me escribió desde Cuba lo siguiente “que vengan para acá, a ver si pueden hacerlo…”, criterio equivocado, pero utilizado para desacreditar el paro donde no se permite esa forma de protesta para reclamar.

Muchos cubanos olvidaron, otros ni conocen, que la huelga es un derecho del trabajador del sistema capitalista cuando está inconforme con métodos o beneficios laborales.

Sin embargo, es difícil llamar trabajadores a millonarios del deporte que, a veces, no merecen esas enormes cantidades por actuaciones mediocres.
