Factor12 Top12 Last12

Over the last twelve MLB seasons, there have been some legendary pitching performances.   The Factor12 Rating is able to quantify each successful season or failure.  Where does your favorite pitcher rate against the competition?

Since 2000, there have been 7569 pitching seasons. Of these occurrences,  only  12 times has a pitcher recorded an F12 Rating over 33.000.

Pedro Martinez’ 2000 season  is one of the greatest performances by any MLB pitcher in history.  The right-hander finishes number one on the F12 Top12 Last12 list by 1.315 points over  Randy Johnson .

Here is the entire F12 breakdown of the past dozen seasons by MLB pitchers:

A total number of 1775 pitching seasons finished above the F12 average baseline of 24.000 or .235 percent.  Look out for the F12 version of the 1990s in the coming weeks.
