One of the unique and fascinating features about fishing in the waters off the Panhandle of Florida near Panama City and Destin are artificial reefs. Bay County fishermen and divers enjoy a bounty of great artificial fishing reefs sponsored by the Bay County Commission in partner with The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commision, The Army Corps of Engineers, dive clubs and individuals. It's one of the best public programs of it's kind in the country and we are proud to be part of it. Many thanks go out to our county leaders for there help in keeping this program alive. See our links page for more information about enjoying the publics access to Bay Counties artificial fishing reefs. We fish hundreds of artificial reefs from old airplane wrecks, bridge spans, concrete rubble, chicken transports, car bodies, farm equipment, pyramids, sunken schooners, shrimp boats, tugs, tankers, tanks, train cars and old tires as well as some of the best live bottom fishing the Panama City / Destin area has to offer? You name it we've fished it. Please remember when fishing a good spot take no more than you need and leave some for seed.
