Bonus Reviews!
Sticking close to their country roots Poco delivers nine laid-back tunes in the softly rocking mode it helped develop. There are also occasional forays into the harder rocking California sound of the Eagles. Lyrically it's uneventful, melodically its pleasant, but one song stands out. Best cut: "Boomerang."
- Billboard, 1978.
The departure of Timothy B. Schmit to The Eagles should have signalled the end for Poco. However, they turned in a surprisingly tight set here and got their first Top 40 hit with "Crazy Love." * * *
