COMING SOON CINQUIFOR periodically organises interesting conferences in the field of Forensic Sciences, on various topics such as crime scenes, forensic genetics,
improvised explosive devices, forensic medicine... Entrance is free until the venue is full, which is usually a classroom/room in the Faculties of
Pharmacy or Science. We recommend that you follow us on Social Networks (

Furthermore, CINQUIFOR, due to its vast knowledge in different analysis techniques and interpretation of analytical results, also offers courses and
workshops on an ad hoc basis, either at its facilities or at any agreed location.

The University of Alcalá (UAH) has established University Extension Studies aimed at the dissemination of knowledge. These
include the
Summer Courses
, in which CINQUIFOR has been participating since 2012 (first as INQUIFOR). Thus, between 2012
and 2016, we organised 5 editions of the course Resolving Chemical-Forensic Problems, with the first edition of the course
Fires: Research and Analysis taking place in 2016, which in 2021 will be held for the fifth time.

On July 2nd and 1st, 2021 , we celebrated the fifth edition of the summer course "FIRES: RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS", which we organized within the program of courses offered by the University and which will be directed by Professors Dr. Gemma Montalvo
and
Dr. M.ª Gloria Quintanilla
.
The aim of the course will be to give attendees a multidisciplinary, general and
theoretical-practical view of the investigation of different types of fire, addressing the
various phases: from the intervention of firefighters for extinction, inspection of the site of
the incident and the location and collection of samples, to the analysis of traces in
laboratories and expert reports. Criminological and prevention aspects will also be dealt
with, and points for improvement in this field of knowledge will be discussed. The
suggestions of those attending the previous edition of the course have been taken into
account in order to offer a more complete, attractive and homogeneous programme.
