PSY 206 - Adolescent Psychology

This course is a study of adolescent development and psychology.  Particular focus will be on biological, social, emotional, and cognitive development during adolescence. The focus of this course is on the transitions occurring within these major domain areas and on developmentally relevant segments such as peer, family, authority, identity autonomy, sexuality, general and academic achievement, and issues of adjustment.
Prerequisite: PSY 101
3 lecture hours per week.
