Apporto

As a "Desktop as a Service" (DaaS) system, Apporto provides users with a cloud-based, virtual PC and software, accessible from any device via a web browser - without the need for a VPN connection.

How to Access and Login

Apporto can be accessed at uhcl.apporto.com from any web browser. Use your UHCL credentials to login. First time logins will be given a quick overview of the basic features.

Launch an App or Desktop

After logging in, locate the desired app or desktop and click " Launch " (you may need to enable pop-ups). The selected app or desktop will open in a new browser tab. First time logins will be given a quick overview of the basic features.

*It may take up to 30 seconds to launch an app the first time. After this, applications will launch much faster. Some apps may take a few minutes to launch due to the cloud-based host server needing to startup before the app is ready for use. In these cases, a pop-up will notify you that the server is starting and may take 1-2 minutes.*
