Here is a 2023 NFL draft pick-by-pick breakdown for the Arizona Cardinals :
Round 1 (No. 6 overall, from Rams through Lions ) — Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State: Arizona leapfrogs from No. 3, down to 12, then back up to sixth for the Buckeyes star, who will be charged with protecting QB Kyler Murray (ACL surgery) once he's ready to return this season. A 6-6, 313-pound consensus All-American, Johnson was widely rated as the draft's top left tackle, though he's also played extensively at guard. Fun fact: He also speaks Mandarin and Portuguese. Round 2 (41, from Titans) — BJ Ojulari, DE/LB, LSU: The brother of Giants pass rusher Azeez Ojulari , the first-team All-SEC selection from 2022 will be expected to come in and help replace some of the production lost by the retirement of DE J.J. Watt and loss of DE Zach Allen in free agency. The 6-2, 248-pound Ojulari had 16½ sacks and 25½ TFLs for the Bayou Bengals . Good bender if a beat lean. Draft tracker
Round 3 (72, from Titans) — Garrett Williams, CB, Syracuse: He should challenge to start given Arizona's generally weak crop of corners, assuming his torn ACL is healed. Broke up 10 passes in both the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Draft tracker
Round 3 (94, from Eagles) — Michael Wilson, WR, Stanford : Big target (6-2, 213) with 4.58 speed but injuries limited his production (134 catches over five seasons) for the Cardinal. Hard to see him having much of a role in Arizona until DeAndre Hopkins moves on. Draft tracker
Round 4 (122, from Dolphins through Chiefs through Lions) — Jon Gaines II, G, UCLA Draft tracker
