Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson has requested a trade.
According to ESPN's Ben Baby , Jackson has asked for a trade or release, making him the third defender in recent weeks to ask off the team.
A third-round pick by the Bengals in 2024, Jackson hasn't been able to shake free of the inactives list for most of the season.

Jackson joins Logan Wilson and Mike Pennel as players to ask off the Bengals lately. Wilson is a captain benched in favor of rookies at linebacker, while Pennel went on to rejoin the Kansas City Chiefs in a hurry.
The Bengals have the league's worst defense while undergoing a youth movement spurred on by new coordinator Al Golden. Jackson was still behind T.J. Slaton, BJ Hill and Kris Jenkins, at a minimum, even after Pennel's release. The Cincinnati front seven also heavily uses edge defenders on the interior in certain packages.
