Will Jacksonville Jaguars' tight end Brenton Strange play on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals ?
Here is what we know following Friday's practice.
Will Jaguars TE Brenton Strange play vs. Cardinals?
Strange was a limited participant in all three practices this week. He is officially listed as questionable.
Strange was placed on injured reserve following the Jaguars' Week 5 win over the Kansas City Chiefs .
This was Strange's second week back at practice since being designated to return from injured reserve. Once medically cleared, he will have to be added back to the 53-man roster and can then be available on Sundays.
Brenton Strange's stats this season
Before the injury, he had been a big part of the Jaguars' passing game success this season, catching 20-of-24 passes for 204 yards.
Along with providing a steady presence to the Jaguars' passing game, Strange is also a very good blocker at the tight end position and is able to line up across the formation with his versatility.
Jaguars tight end depth chart
The Jaguars have been quite thin at this position as of late. Hunter Long has missed a few games recently as well, leaving Johnny Mundt and Quintin Morris to share the workload at the position.
Long has again been ruled out for Sunday's game with Arizona.
With how well Morris is playing, especially as a blocker, he may be earning himself more opportunities moving forward.
