Good news for the Luther Burden stans in Broncos Country.
The Denver Broncos recently brought the Missouri wide receiver in for a pre-draft visit, according to a report from KUSA-TV's Mike Klis . Each team can host up to 30 non-local prospects on visits ahead of the draft and the Broncos used one of those visits for Burden.
Burden (6-0, 206 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds and a 10-yard split in 1.54 seconds at the NFL combine. He earned first-team All-SEC honors in each of the last two seasons after hauling in 147 receptions for 1,888 yards and 15 touchdowns from 2023-2024.
NFL.com's Lance Zierlein has compared Burden to Garrett Wilson , who was a first-round pick out of Ohio State in the 2022 NFL draft.
After totaling 2,497 yards from scrimmage and scoring 25 touchdowns in three years (38 games) with the Tigers, Burden is now projected as a first-round prospect in this month's NFL draft. The Broncos hold seven picks this year , including No. 20 overall in the first round, and Burden could be one of their targets.
Burden would instantly improve the wide receiver room while adding another weapon on offense for second-year quarterback Bo Nix . The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Wisconsin from April 24-26.
