- Broncos to host NDSU QB Cam Miller on pre-draft visit
The Denver Broncos have their franchise quarterback in Bo Nix , and primary backup Jarrett Stidham is set to return in 2025 after re-signing on a two-year deal . Now the team needs a QB3.
One candidate could be North Dakota State quarterback Cam Miller, who has a pre-draft visit scheduled with the Broncos , according to KUSA-TV's Mike Klis .

Miller (6-1, 212 pounds) won a pair of FCS national championships (2021, 2024) with the Bison , and he was named the MVFC Offensive Player of the Year last fall. He went 258-of-351 passing for 3,251 yards with 33 touchdowns against four interceptions in 2024.
Miller spent five years at NDSU, totaling 9,721 passing yards with 81 touchdowns against 19 interceptions in 67 games. A dual-threat QB, Miller also rushed for 2,277 yards and 48 touchdowns in college.
Denver might be considering Miller for more than just a backup quarterback role. Broncos coach Sean Paytonhas not had a Taysom Hill-type of player since he took over as Denver's coach in 2023, and Miller could be a candidate for an "offensive weapon" role in the NFL.

After playing at the FCS level, Miller is probably a late-round or undrafted free agent draft prospect. The Broncos hold seven draft picks this year, including three selections in the sixth round. The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Wisconsin from April 24-26.
