The Denver Broncos wrapped up mandatory minicamp this week with eight players sidelined or absent.
One of the unexplained absences was that of wide receiver Devaughn Vele , but coach Sean Payton did not seem concerned.
"He's going to be full-go start of training camp," Payton said Thursday. "Everything is good. There may be one player, [A.T.] Perry, that might go a week into training camp and then be ready, depending on how the summer goes. Outside of that, we expect everyone back."
Payton indicated Vele is dealing with a leg injury, according to KUSA-TV's Mike Klis .
Perry apparently has an ankle injury . The list of players with known injuries also includes linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad ), long snapper Mitchell Fraboni ( back ), pass rusher Jonah Elliss ( shoulder ) and safety P.J. Locke ( back ).
The players who seem to have undisclosed injuries are running back Blake Watson and defensive lineman Kristian Williams .
Newly signed running back J.K. Dobbins is healthy, but he worked on a side field after joining the team on Day 2 of minicamp. Dobbins is getting up to speed, and he should be ready to go at training camp.
Overall, the Broncos are in decent health going into the summer.
