The Denver Broncos are looking for a wide receiver in the 2025 NFL draft, and a local prospect could be in play.
The Broncos sent two staff members -- including wide receivers coach Keary Colbert -- to Colorado State's pro day last week to watch Rams wide receiver Tory Horton , according to the Denver Post 's Luca Evans .
Horton confirmed after his pro day workout that he has met with the team.
"Yeah, you know, it wouldn't be bad," Horton said when asked about the possibility of staying in Colorado as a pro. "I met with them -- great people over there -- they've got a great thing going over there at the organization. I feel great for what they've got in store. I had really good meets with them, so if it was to happen, I wouldn't be mad."
Horton (6-2, 196 pounds) ran a 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds at the NFL combine after playing in six games last season before suffering a knee injury. Before that injury, Horton totaled 167 receptions for 2,267 yards and 16 touchdowns from 2022-2023. He spent the first two years of his college career at Nevada before transferring to CSU in 2022.
Horton is now projected as a fourth-round prospect, and the Broncos hold pick No. 122 in Round 4. The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Wisconsin from April 24-26.
