The Denver Broncos are re-signing long snapper Mitchell Fraboni to a three-year, $4.175 million contract, Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team first reported on Sunday evening.
Fraboni (6-2, 223 pounds) was a long snapper and defensive end in college at Arizona State . After going undrafted in the 2018 NFL draft, Fraboni stayed in football shape and competed in The Spring League in 2020.
He had a brief stint with the Houston Texans in 2021, but did not make the roster. Fraboni then impressed in the USFL with the Pittsburgh Maulers in the spring of 2022, catching the attention of the Broncos .
Denver signed Fraboni to its practice squad midway through the 2022 season and he was later called up to the game-day roster while Jacob Bobenmoyer was injured. Bobenmoyer left the team during free agency the following spring and Fraboni took over as the full-time long snapper.
Fraboni has snapped 34-straight games for the Broncos with few mishaps. He is now set to continue in that role for the next three seasons.
