Crew midfielder Max Arfsten and defender Sean Zawadzki received call-ups to the United States men's national team for the September FIFA international window.
During the window, the USMNT will compete in two friendlies, including a matchup against Japan at Lower.com Field on Sep. 9. The national team will first compete against South Korea on Sep. 6 in Harrison, New Jersey.
Crew goalkeeper Patrick Schulte was left off this roster despite being invited to multiple camps earlier this year. Schulte was called up to the team's June camp but had to withdraw after suffering an oblique injury in pregame for a game against Charlotte FC on May 24.
Arfsten is returning after helping the U.S. reach the CONCACAF Gold Cup final this summer, recording a goal and three assists in the tournament.
In January, Arfsten made his debut for the national team and has been called up by coach Mauricio Pochettino to every camp since.
Ahead of the Gold Cup, Zawadzki received his first call-up in over a year to the June USMNT camp, but similar to Schulte, was forced to withdraw due to a knee injury he suffered against Charlotte.
