🏈 Steelers Style, the team's annual fashion show featuring players and their families showing off the latest fashions, will take place on Friday, October 10 at 6 p.m. at Stage AE.
The Steelers announced the co-captains for this year's high-energy show, with strong safety DeShon Elliott and wide receiver DK Metcalf handling the honor.
"It's cool. I have always been recognized for my taste in fashion," Elliott said. "Just to have the chance to co-chair it is special. I am excited for it."
🏈 Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was mic'd up during the Steelers' game against the Minnesota Vikings in Ireland.
🏈 Former Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and cornerback Ike Taylor helped the Steelers in bringing flag football to the Irish youth in five clinics during the Dublin game week.
🏈 Steel City Star posted a clip of Mel Blount's 91-yard kick return in his rookie year. It's the longest play of his career.
🏈 Steelers rookie outside linebacker Jack Sawyer is the winner of the 2025 NFL Way to Play Award for Week 4. This is the eighth year for the award, which recognizes NFL players who exemplify proper technique to make impactful plays.
"Jack gets a one-on-one block, but look at his posture," Troy Vincent, NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations said . "Great get off. Wonderful hand leverage. He gets inside of the tackle's shoulder pad. Good leverage with his arms and he has this tackle on skates.
"He makes the quarterback adjust his throw. Wonderful technique, something I've seen before when he was at OSU. Coach Larry Johnson has taught this young man well and he's applying it."
Sawyer will receive a $5,000 equipment grant through USA Football to be awarded to the local youth or high school football program of his choice.
🏈 CBS Sports Cody Benjamin thinks the Steelers offense is fake.
"They are playing a style of offense that Rodgers, at 41 years old, surprisingly older than Joe Flacco , needs to play because he doesn't want to get hit, can't move with his feet anymore, can't extend plays, he needs to get the ball out fast," Benjamin said on The Ringer NFL Show . "When they go against better teams, 'cause I think their schedule to start the season has been very underrated easy. I think you're going to see how much this Steelers offense is fake when you start to go against more playable defenses."
🏈 Former Steelers nose tackle Chris Hoke said it's time for the Steelers to get Pat Freiermuth involved.
"They're paying those guys too much money. I mean, they're paying Freiermuth, I think $10 million a year. So they gotta get him in the game," Hoke said on 93.7 The Fan . "Him to play what, 15-16 percent of the snaps. Freiermuth's not gonna be happy. So they've gotta find a way to get him involved in the offense."
🏈 Jason McIntyre of FS1 said luck has been the real MVP for the Steelers.
"If we're being honest, luck is the real MVP for the Steelers," McIntyre said on The Herd . "They got lucky that the Jets fumbled that kickoff when the Jets were dominating that game. They got lucky against the Patriots with five turnovers. And they got lucky to face Carson Wentz . Here are the quarterbacks. Steelers have beaten Justin Fields , they lost to Sam Darnold , they beat second-year quarterback Drake Maye , and they beat Carson Wentz."
