- Detroit Lions injury report: Aidan Hutchinson casts doubt on Marcus Davenport's status
The Detroit Lions are still consulting doctors about Marcus Davenport 's latest injury, but Aidan Hutchinson cast doubt on his pass-rushing partner's availability for Monday's game against the Baltimore Ravens – and maybe beyond.
Asked about the impact he's had on defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad , Hutchinson said Thursday, "We have a really good relationship and with Marcus being uncertain for the future it's going to be fun. We're going to get after it, me and (Muhammad) are."
Davenport left last week's win over the Chicago Bears after a third-quarter sack on Caleb Williams with what the Lions announced as a shoulder injury.
He returned to play four plays in the fourth quarter, but did not practice Thursday. Lions coach Dan Campbell said before practice the team still was in the stage of "getting tests and doctors looking at the stuff" with Davenport's injury and that Davenport's availability would not be known until later in the week.
Davenport, who was listed on the Lions' injury report Thursday with a chest injury, played just two games last season for the Lions because of a torn triceps and missed all but four games in 2023 with the Minnesota Vikings because of an ankle injury.
Muhammad is in line for an expanded role at defensive end if Davenport can't play against the Ravens.

In other injury news, offensive tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder) was seen walking around without pads during practice on Thursday, chatting with players and coaches but not participating in drills. Decker missed much of practice last week but still played in Sunday's game against the Bears.
Linebacker Jack Campbell (ankle) also did not practice Thursday, and Kerby Joseph was limited with a knee injury.
Running back Sione Vaki (hamstring) and linebacker Trevor Nowaske (elbow) practiced in full after missing the past two weeks with injuries.
Here's the Lions' full injury report from Thursday:
LB Jack Campbell, ankle, did not participate (DNP)
EDGE Marcus Davenport, chest, DNP
LT Taylor Decker, shoulder, DNP
S Kerby Joseph, knee, limited participant
LB Trevor Nowaske, elbow, full participant (FP)
RB Sione Vaki, hamstring, FP
