- When does Alabama basketball tip off vs North Dakota? Season opener start time revealed
Tip-off time for Alabama basketball 's season opener against North Dakota has been revealed.
Back in Coleman Coliseum to start the 2025-26 regular season, Alabama-North Dakota will start at 7 p.m. CT on Monday, Nov. 3.
The Crimson Tide met North Dakota on its run to the Elite Eight for an unexpected challenge from the Fighting Hawks. In "The Betty," Alabama emerged with a 97-90 victory despite a 40 point performance from UND's Treysen Eaglestaff, who drained eight 3-pointers on the night.

Twenty-three points from North Dakota native Grant Nelson, matched by Mark Sears, saved Alabama, who embark on this year's matchup without the two NBA-bound stars.
In its first appearance since the postseason madness of March, a younger Alabama team met Florida State at the Ballin' in Boutwell exhibition, getting out of Birmingham with a 109-105 win. Four freshmen and returning veterans like Labaron Philon, Houston Mallette and Aiden Sherrell alike will still have a formidable opponent in North Dakota, but will be fortunate to not have to defend Eaglestaff, who transferred to West Virginia after the 2024-25 season.
North Dakota will receive $30,000 from Alabama for Game 2 of the series, as well as Game 3, which will take place in Tuscaloosa in 2026 and serve as the season opener once again.
Before the Crimson Tide gets back to action in Coleman, Alabama has just one more exhibition appearance. Nate Oats and company meet Furman on Sunday, Oct. 26, in Greenville, S.C. at 2 p.m.
