The Michigan Wolverines went into Lincoln, Nebraska's Memorial Stadium and won a 30-27 game against quarterback Dylan Raiola and coach Matt Rhule's Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday, the Wolverines' fifth straight win in the series.
The Cornhuskers lost despite a 300-plus yard effort from Raiola, the sensational sophomore quarterback who moved the pocket and once again did his best Pat Mahomes impersonation with a wide array of passes from unique arm angles.
After the game, Raiola took to the podium during a press conference, clearly disappointed in the final result.
He made a promise to Huskers fans as he shared his thoughts on what he believes the future will hold in Lincoln.

Raiola's Hopeful for Remainder of 2025-26 Season
Raiola still believes his team has what it takes to do something special this season.
"A lot of people think this might break us. I'm just telling you right now, we're going to come together and do something scary," he said .
Raiola was sacked seven times on the day but continued to weave his way through a hungry Michigan defense that didn't give him much time to set his feet inside the pocket.
He made big plays in tense situations but ultimately came up short.
The game will go down as a learning experience for the former five-star recruit, leading up to a Saturday, Oct. 4 game against Michigan State.
Ex-Huskers Star Predicts Big Ten Title Game Appearance
Former Huskers offensive lineman Will Compton also spoke after the game following his losing bet against former Michigan star Taylor Lewan .
Compton congratulated Lewan and appeared to predict a Big Ten Championship Game meeting between the two teams.
"Let me just say this (as I sit in my driveway before I go inside and lay with my wife telling her about how we will end up [in] Indianapolis competing for a Big Ten title)," Compton wrote on X.
"Congratulations to @TaylorLewan77 & the Michigan Wolverines on winning the Bussin' Bowl today. You earned it and beat us in our house.
"As a man of my word - I'll be shaving the head, Bussin' will be donating $50K to Michigan's NIL Collective, & I will personally [be] conceding the 1997 National Championship until further notice.
"Great game, we will see you in Indy," he added along with a hand-shaking emoji.
