Saturday's regular season finale between North Carolina and Duke will be an important one for the Tar Heels.
Duke could have the ACC regular season title locked up by then, or they could win it with a win over UNC barring other results. The Blue Devils also know they are an NCAA Tournament team while UNC is battling for their lives at this moment. It very well could come down to this game for UNC, a big Quad 1 opportunity.
And with the hype surrounding this rivalry, ESPN's College GameDay is making the trip to Chapel Hill.
The network announced on Saturday that College GameDay will be hosted in the Dean Dome ahead of the game between UNC and Duke.
This is the second time College GameDay has been to the home school for this game, also going to Duke on Feb. 1 and deciding not to go to Kentucky for the Arkansas game featuring John Calipari's return.
Alabama and Auburn are also scheduled to play that day which likely will be a top 10 matchup. Kentucky is at Missouri and St. John's faces off against Marquette in Milwaukee. But we should know by now that the program will want to showcase that matchup.
