- Falcons signing UDFA wide receiver to practice squad
The Atlanta Falcons are expected to sign undrafted free agent Nick Nash to their 16-man practice squad. Nash was a prolific wide receiver at San Jose State and it was somewhat of a surprise that he went undrafted. While the team has yet to officially sign anybody to the practice squad , Nash's agent said it's a done deal.
The Falcons kept seven wide receivers on their initial 53-man roster , but left Nash and Chris Blair off of it. Both former undrafted free agents shined in the 2025 NFL preseason. Nash led the team with six catches for 87 receiving yards in Atlanta's preseason finale.
"Nash was highly productive in 2024, and he was more than just a high-volume receiver," Pro Football Focus wrote in Nash's 2025 scouting profile. "His impressive footwork, route running and releases make him an intriguing mid-round option as a big slot receiver."

The Falcons will also likely attempt to bring back Blair, who was arguably the team's most productive receiver over the last two preseasons.
