PITTSBURGH — Payton Wilson threw up on the field and went to the sidelines before the Pittsburgh Steelers ' defense registered its second interception against the Seattle Seahawks . The second-year inside linebacker entered the blue medical tent, exited and sat beside Patrick Queen on the bench.
Wilson returned to the game on the next defensive series.
Wilson, who was tied for the Steelers' lead in total tackles (4), wasn't on the field for the following fourth-and-1, in which veteran stalwart Cam Heyward got a paw on a Sam Darnold pass that wound up in Nick Herbig 's hands. Herbig returned the pick 41 yards to Seattle's 21-yard line.
Six plays later, Aaron Rodgers floated a 3-yard touchdown pass to DK Metcalf . A 2-point conversion connection between Rodgers and towering tight end Darnell Washington made it 14-7 with 1:09 remaining in the half.
