- Mark Andrews on 'tough' drop in playoff loss vs. Bills: 'It's how you bounce back'
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews dropped a potential game-tying 2-point conversion with 1:33 left in the team's 27-25 divisional-round playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills .
The 29-year-old tight end spoke to reporters for the first time since that critical mistake at a Ravens OTAs Wednesday.

Andrews was asked what was going through his mind in the hours and days after the drop. He admitted it was "tough" to cope with the way the season ended.
"This is my life. I've put a lot of work into this, and everything I think about is focused on that," Andrews said . "It wasn't the way I had planned it, but that's all part of the story."

Andrews' drop was certainly out of character. He had just four total drops during the 2024 regular season, and his 5.8% drop rate ranked a respectable 55th among 192 qualified receivers.

That's part of the reason the play is fueling the veteran to perform better during the 2025 NFL season.
"I've been using it," Andrews explained. "I've had an incredible offseason, and I'm excited just to show what I can continue to do."

Andrews is entering the final season of a four-year, $56 million contract extension he signed with the Ravens in 2021. He is hoping to show he is "not slowing down" after posting 55 catches for 673 yards and a team-leading 11 touchdowns last season.

And while his postseason drop ended the Ravens' Super Bowl run on a sour note, Andrews is confident he can make the drop feel like a distant memory by posting another quality campaign.
"It's how you bounce back," Andrews said.
