It's not a splashy signing, but the Denver Broncos now have wide receiver checked off their free agency to-do list.
The Broncos are signing wide receiver Trent Sherfield to a two-year contract, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports first reported on Tuesday evening. Schultz described it as an $8 million contract, but that's presumably the max value of the deal (we won't know for sure until more contract details are released).
Sherfield (6-1, 206 pounds) entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt with the Arizona Cardinals in 2018. He spent three years in Arizona before one-year stints with the San Francisco 49ers , Miami Dolphins , Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings .
