Mekari, 27, has played every position on the offensive line for the Ravens but was a guard last season and played in all 17 games. He started his seven-year career as a center before bouncing around the offensive line, spending time at both tackle spots before sticking as a guard. HE initially was signed as an undrafted free agent by Baltimore in 2019.
According to PFF , Mekari (6-4, 305) allowed one sack in 998 snaps during the 2024 season while protecting MVP finalist Lamar Jackson .
He now brings some stability to an offensive line that's been inconsistent over the last few seasons.
Walker Little re-signed with the team last year to be a left tackle, Ezra Cleveland re-signed as a guard after being traded from Minnesota in 2023, center Mitch Morse announced his retirement last season, Brandon Scherff is a free agent and Anton Harrison is still on his rookie contract as a first-round pick in 2023.
The team could opt to add additional players through the draft or in free agency to bolster Trevor Lawrence 's protection.
