Carolina Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn just wants to drive ahead.
The Pro Bowl defender was involved in a car accident last Wednesday, which resulted in a hand injury that kept him out of that morning's joint practice with the Cleveland Browns . Horn, whose thumb is still stitched up from the crash, has since been a light participant in workouts—and was asked about his progress this afternoon.
"I'm good," he told reporters. "Just had to get some stitches. When I get them out, I'll be ready to roll."
Horn was then asked how scary of an experience the collision was.
"I'm good, man" he repeated. "When I get the stitches out, I'll be ready to roll. I'll leave it at that."
Tuesday's practice saw Horn work off the injured thumb, as he took part in individual drills using just one hand . . .
The 25-year-old later added that he's still unsure if he'll be able to play in this Saturday's preseason contest against the Houston Texans .
