The Carolina Panthers have drafted Georgia Bulldogs running back Trevor Etienne with the No. 114 pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft. What are the Panthers getting in Etienne?
Trevor Etienne is a versatile running back that is capable both as a runner and as a receiver. Etienne, who spent the first two seasons of his college football career with the Florida Gators , played one season with Georgia in 2024.
In 2024, Etienne ran for 600 yards and nine touchdowns on 122 carries. He added 32 receptions for 194 yards and no touchdowns as a receiver.
Etienne played very well in two separate games against a talented Texas defense (Etienne had a combined 35 carries for 181 yards and five rushing touchdowns). Etienne's top moment of his Georgia career came when he scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime of the SEC championship.
He also missed Georgia's season opener due to a suspension and was limited for much of the season due to a painful ribs injury. Etienne tested well at the NFL combine and is a great athlete.
Etienne, who is the brother of Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne , was productive in all three of his college seasons. The 5-foot-9, 205-pound running back posted at least 110 carries, 600 rushing yards and six touchdowns in every year of his college career. Etienne fumbled four times in his college career (one lost). He enters the draft without too much wear and tear on his body (under 400 career college carries)
