The NFL draft is usually a good time for veterans to be traded and while Jalen Ramsey is on the block, the Miami Dolphins are waiting to move him. One team that could be a fit for the three-time All-Pro cornerback is the Los Angeles Rams .
Rams GM Les Snead said recently that he's had discussions with the Dolphins and on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirmed the Rams are one of the teams interested in acquiring Ramsey.
"It does seem being traded is more likely than not," Rapoport said. "There are several interested teams. The Dolphins have had some phone calls. His old team, the Los Angeles Rams , from my understanding, are at least one of the teams interested. That reunion would be pretty fascinating, one of Sean McVay's favorite players he's had."
If the Rams are going to acquire Ramsey, it'll take a future draft pick to get it done – possibly a third-rounder. They just traded their 2026 fourth-round pick to move up for Ty Hamilton so that's off the table but they do have a third.
Adding Ramsey to a cornerback group that's lacking top-end talent could be what the defense needs to take the next step.
