The Pittsburgh Steelers are still looking to make a trade at the wide receiver position, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network .
"The Steelers are, once again, in the market for a receiver, sources say. Their offense has thrived by featuring multiple tight ends, but the addition of a speed threat to pair with DK Metcalf would help Aaron Rodgers and the offense," Rapoport wrote.
The New Orleans Saints ' Chris Olave and the Las Vegas Raiders ' Jakobi Meyers have been linked as possible trade candidates for the Steelers.
Meyers could be on the trade block with the team off to a 2-4 start, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN . The NFL trade deadline is on Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. ET.
Meyers is in the final year of his contract , he's making $10.5 million this season. It seems clear that Meyers won't help the Raiders win anything at this point.
Meyers (knee/toe) was inactive for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs .
Meyers, who requested a trade in August as he seeks a contract extension, is not planning to back down any time soon.
"I asked. They said, 'No.' That's where that stopped," Meyers said in August, via Nick Walters of KTNV. "For me, it don't stop. I'm still pushing to take care of my family every day. So if it stops for them, I'm gonna have to bring it back up or something. For me, it ain't dead yet. I'm gonna keep fighting."

Meyers had a career-best season in 2024, recording 87 catches for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns. In six games this season, he has hauled in 29 passes for 329 yards.
That type of production would be a fitting pairing with wide receiver DK Metcalf in the Steelers' offense.
Meyers doesn't have a specific destination he's looking to be traded to, either.
"It's a job," Meyers said. "At the end of the day, I'm happy to be doing my job with my boys, but I could be happy anywhere."
Pittsburgh did already give Metcalf a massive, five-year, $150 million contract after acquiring him from the Seattle Seahawks this offseason, but Meyers won't demand that type of money.
Meyers could just prove to be the Steelers missing piece on offense. The only questions is: Can they find a way to pry him out of Las Vegas ?
"I really don't know where it's gonna go," Meyers said. "But like I said, I'm ready to go if you want me to go, I'm ready if you need me to play."
When healthy, Olave has been very impressive, recording 217 catches for 2,750 yards (12.7 average) and and 11 touchdowns in his career.
However, Olave would come at a risk, too. He has had a myriad of concussions throughout his football career.
Olave missed one game with a concussion in Week 6 last season, returned, and then suffered another concussion in Week 9 that cost him the rest of his season. It was the fourth concussion of his professional career and fifth since starting college.
Olave, 24, was the No. 11 overall pick of the Saints in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He posted back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons to start his NFL career, but struggled through poor quarterback play and concussions in 2024.
