The North Carolina Tar Heels are 2-0 to start their season, including a big win over No. 16 Kansas on Friday night in the Dean Dome. This UNC roster looks a lot different from a year ago with just Seth Trimble returning as a starter.
As North Carolina still looks to fully gel as a team, it will suffer a setback as Trimble is now expected to miss time.
Per the program, Trimble suffered a broken bone in his left forearm and will have surgery this week. With that, Trimble will now miss an indefinite amount of time. The program did not have an exact timetable for a return.
"So sad for Seth," Hubert Davis said Sunday night in a statement . "He's such a great kid and teammate and has worked so hard for his senior year. He loves being a Tar Heel, and we love him. The good news is he will be back at some point this year, and I know he will continue to be a great leader for us until he can get back in the lineup."
Trimble has started in both UNC games this season, including scoring 17 points in the win over Kansas on Friday.
