PITTSBURGH —The Pittsburgh Steelers will face division foe the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium. The Steelers will be looking to bounce back after an embarrassing 25-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium last Sunday night.

The Steelers have ruled outside linebacker Alex Highsmith out of the team's Week 11 game against the Bengals on Sunday.
Highsmith did not practice all this week while dealing with a pectoral injury. He was not listed in the injury rundown given by head coach Mike Tomlin on Tuesday, though Tomlin did say that some players dealing with "bumps and bruises" might miss practice time early in the week.
That apparently was not the case for Highsmith. He played 72.6% of the team's defensive snaps against the Chargers on Sunday, and did not outwardly appear to be injured during the game.
The Steelers have also ruled out cornerback Darius Slay and linebacker Cole Holcomb .
Slay is still in the concussion protocol after suffering a concussion in Sunday night's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday and was limited on Friday.
Holcomb will not suit up for the third straight week while dealing with an undisclosed illness. Holcomb did not practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and then did not practice on Friday this week. He did not practice at all the two previous weeks.
Steelers left guard Isaac Seumalo is questionable for Sunday.
Seumalo was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before not practicing on Friday. His status seems very much up in the air.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin revealed during his Tuesday press conference that he's optimistic that Seumalo being able to return for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Seumalo was out for Sunday night's game against the Chargers due to a pectoral injury.
Seumalo first suffered the pectoral injury in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers . He returned to that game once before being eventually ruled out. Two weeks ago, he practiced only on Friday and in a limited fashion, but was able to start the game against the Indianapolis Colts . He played the first half before being ruled out for the rest of the game in the second half.
The Steelers have elevated linebacker Mark Robinson from their practice squad to the active roster for the second consecutive week.
Robinson, the team's seventh round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, re-signed with the team on Nov. 4, and was first elevated last week against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Against L.A., Robinson played in just one snap of special teams, covering a kickoff. He's in the lineup because Holcomb being out.
The Steelers have also elevated cornerback D'Shawn Jamison for the team's Week 11 game against the Bengals, not newly acquired veteran Asante Samuel Jr.
Jamison, 26, is in his second season on the Steelers' practice squad, but has yet to play in a game for the team. He originally signed to the practice squad on Sept. 17, 2024, re-signed for the 2025 season in January, was waived in August and re-signed to the practice squad again .
A 5-foot-9, 186-pound cornerback, Jamison has primarily played as a slot cornerback in his time with the Steelers, and has also worked as a punt returner.
The Steelers reinstated rookie quarterback Will Howard from the injured reserve list on Wednesday.
Howard had returned to practice on Oct. 23 , meaning the team had to reinstate him from injured reserve this week, or he would be forced to spend the entire season on the IR list.

The Steelers lost to the Bengals in shootout, 33-31, at Paycor Stadium on Thursday Night Football on Oct. 16.
Aaron Rodgers finished 23 of 34 for 249 yards and four touchdowns, but the two turnovers loomed large in the back-and-forth game . Pat Freiermuth continued his dominance of the Bengals, making five catches for 111 yards and the two scores.
Rodgers' Hail Mary pass attempt on the last play that resulted in an incompletion traveled 69.8 yards in the air, the longest recorded pass attempt since at least 2017, according to Next Gen Stats.
Rodgers has thrown four successful Hail Mary passes in his career, which is the most by any NFL player. His most recent successful Hail Mary was a 52-yard touchdown to Allen Lazard in Week 6 of the 2024 season.
On Rodgers' heave, Bengals cornerback D.J. Ivey swatted the pass down in the end zone, securing a Cincinnati win.
The Steelers' defense had no answer for Bengals star wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in the last meeting.
Chase reeled in a single-game career-high 16 passes for 161 yards in the Bengals' win over the Steelers. Tee Higgins nearly eclipsed 100 receiving yards, as well. The Steelers got handsy and dealt with pass interference calls throughout the night, which has been a common theme in recent games against the Bengals.

The Steelers lead the all-time series, 71-41, though recently, the series has been very even. Prior to the Steelers' loss to Cincinnati in Week 6, the teams split the last 10 games in the rivalry dating back to the 2020 season. The Steelers swept the Bengals in 2023, and Cincinnati swept in 2021, with the road teams winning in 2022 and 2024 and the home teams winning in 2020.
The Steelers won three straight in Cincinnati, as well as 10 of the last 12, before the Week 6 loss. Since Paycor Stadium opened in 2000, the Steelers are 22-6, and they are 35-22 overall in Cincinnati.

Safety Geno Stone is a New Castle native. This will be his ninth career game against his hometown Steelers — his third with Cincinnati after spending his first four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. He has 14 tackles, one interception and one quarterback hit in those eight games.
Wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley played at Penn State in 2022. Tight end Mike Gesicki , who is on the injured reserve, played at PSU from 2014-17, and practice squad quarterback Sean Clifford was with the Nittany Lions from 2017-22.
Defensive coordinator Al Golden played tight end at Penn State from 1988-91 and was a linebackers coach at PSU in 2000.
