Adrian Peterson is the greatest running back in Minnesota Vikings history. During his 10-year career in purple, AP carried the ball 2,418 times for an absurd 11,747 rushing yards, 97 touchdowns and a whopping 4.9 YPC average.
Unfortunately, Peterson was never the same running back once he left Minnesota, totalling less than 3,000 yards between six different teams, over the course of five seasons from 2017-2021. To this day, the Vikings legend and future NFL Hall of Famer has yet to retire , even though he's now 40 years old and hasn't played for three seasons.

Off the field, AP has had multiple run-ins with police, including recently . His most infamous off-field legal issue stemmed from a child abuse scandal that turned his life and the 2014 Minnesota Vikings season upside down. The former Oklahoma Sooner has also dealt with money issues that have lead to disputes over some of his merchandise and who owns it.
