Why Bills cut Zach Davidson after Shilo Sanders ejection and punting audition originally appeared on The Sporting News
Zach Davidson is one of those guys who gets off the bus and looks the part.
At 6-foot-7, the huge tight end is an imposing presence in a Buffalo Bills uniform.
One problem: Davidson is no longer a Bills tight end. He was released on Tuesday as part of the NFL's roster cutdown day.

It comes off the back of a busy preseason finale.
Davidson was the player who was tangled up with Shilo Sanders to prompt a punch from Deion's son that earned an ejection for the Buccaneers' undrafted rookie (who was later cut himself).
The tight end also stood in as the Bills' punter, kicking blasts of 62 and 42 yards.
But now he's looking for a new gig, or maybe will end up on Buffalo's practice squad.

Why did the Bills cut Zach Davidson?
The Bills didn't have a ton of space for auditioning tight ends.
Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox hold down the top two spots on the TE depth chart.
There was an opening after Quintin Morris left in free agency for the Jacksonville Jaguars .
The Bills had used a fifth-round draft pick on Jackson Hawes , though, and they opted to keep him on the roster instead of Davidson.
